Rickenbacker 4001
Vintage Bass Guitar
My Rickenbacker bass is a 1972 Mapleglo 4001 with checkerboard binding (the checkerboard ended a year or two after this guitar was made). Note the tuners have the wave shape only available for a few years.
It has a growling booming sound which used to run thru 2 Sunn 200S and a Maestro guitar synthesizer. Ahh ... those where the day ... back when I still had full-range hearing.
